Ray Horak was Senior Consulting Editor for Newton’s Telecom Dictionary (12th through 22nd Editions) until he resigned to write Webster’s New World Telecom Dictionary.
Mr. Horak also was an Adjunct Faculty member of The University of San Francisco (USF), McLaren Graduate School of Business. Mr. Horak served on the USF Telecom Program Advisory Board for a number of years. He also served on the Advisory Committee of the Skagit Valley College (Mount Vernon, WA) Electronics/Telecommunications Technology Program. Mr. Horak was a member of a number of Editorial Boards, including The Connectivity Management Handbook, The Journal of Telecommunications in Higher Education and The Prepaid Press. He also served as Technology Editor for Telecom Reseller newspaper for many years.
His public seminars, Telecommunications Networks and Systems, for many years were sponsored by Network World Technical Seminars in the U.S, and by Terrapinn (previously AIC) in Africa and AustralAsia. He previously was on the faculties of Business Communications Review (BCR) and the Institute for International Research (IIR). He also has taught a number of technical courses on fiber optics installation and troubleshooting for Computer Education Services Corporation (CESC).
